Summary

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: 3701 South Street, Lafayette, Indiana 47905

Notes:

Support a lot of onsite activities design engineering like NPI and CPI
Primary role is to support operation assembly area where they are putting together engines
Assisting with shop issues
Look at a engine and help resolve any issues
Mainly physical troubleshooting, document the problem and take it to additional team members if issue is not resolved
Clearly communicate the issues found and seek potential solution
Participate in delivery audits
ECR s request from factory (engine electrical design)
Work with factory and internal engineering team + offshore engineering team to get the project completed
Decent number of trips to factory floor
80% of time is NPI products large gas and diesel products

Education and experience :

Bachelor s in mechanical or electrical with 3 years of ears of experience
Troubleshooting experience
Electrical knowledge
Ability to make proposals
