Embedded Software Integration Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Drive the evolution of body control software architecture and define hardware/software interfaces
Lead early-stage hardware and software integration and validate system performance against defined requirements
Translate high-level vehicle objectives into precise software specifications for body control systems
Analyze field data to identify opportunities to refine and optimize body control system performance
Collaborate with validation teams to develop comprehensive test strategies for body control functionality
Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software integration issues throughout the product lifecycle
Assess the impact of design modifications across hardware and software components
Support functional safety activities including DFMEA and HARA analyses for body control systems
Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams across electrical, software, manufacturing, and mechanical disciplines
Facilitate understanding of system interdependencies to support seamless integration across vehicle domains
Translate complex system requirements into scalable testing, validation, and observability solutions
Support embedded system troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, system performance validation, and OTA software releases
Design and draw state machine diagrams based on provided system scenarios

Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience
Bachelor's Degree
