Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Lead Software Engineer (Data API Platform) (multiple positions) in Cupertino, CA.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain software products.
• Work across teams to define quantified deliverables from high-level requirements.
• Guide engineers to adopt and advocate best engineering practices and reusable modular designs resulting in a quality and fast-paced deliverables.
• Use RAML, YAML (with JSON), and ODATA in Web Service design.
• Build common services framework for Logging, Error Handling, Auditing, Policy Management, Authentication, and Authorization.
• Use MS Azure in containerized deployment.
• Perform Continuous integration and Continuous deployment.
• Estimate, prioritize, and execute on the technology roadmap using strong communication skills and ability.

Basic Qualifications:

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, followed by 5 years in a progressively responsible Software Developer, or related, occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must include 3 years of experience with each of the following:

Building microservices with Core Java and Springboot; Developing and maintaining high performance APIs; Developing applications with Cassandra; Building and deploying microservices with docker containers; Microservices orchestration on Kubernetes; Leveraging, building, and monitoring solutions with Grafana and Prometheus; Building pipelines and jobs with Jenkins; and, Building automation scripts with bash and python.
