Position: Senior Java Backend Developer (Hybrid)

Location: Newark, DE (3 days onsite/week) {Local Only}

Duration : 18 months

Note -- Please share only highly qualified candidates have hands-on Java/J2EE development experience, strong Spring MVC/Spring Boot, Oracle SQL, Kafka/MQ, and experience with WebSphere, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and containerization.

Position Summary

The Fraud Technology team is looking for a senior level JAVA full stack Developer.

The developer will collaborate closely with product owners and their agile team to design and build scalable solutions that support Line of Business initiatives in the Fraud domain.

Candidates must possess advanced problem-solving skills, the willingness to learn and ability to effectively and concisely communicate verbally and in written/presentation format. You must work well in a supportive and transparent team environment, while having the ability to research and resolve issues independently. Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to engage and influence teams across technology and the business.

 

Primary Skill-Spring MVC

Secondary Skill- Spring boot

Tertiary Skill-Vue.js

 

Required Qualifications

·         Java/J2EE

·         Object Oriented design and Programming

·         Spring (Spring batch or Spring integration and Spring boot is a plus) in addition to Spring Boot

·         At least one ORM/Persistence Framework: iBatis/MyBatis, Hibernate, JPA

·         Experience with messaging frameworks like KAFKA

·         SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, Micro Services, JAXWS/JAXRS

·         Source Control: Bit Bucket

·         Maven, test Driven development (TDD) and continuous integration (CI), JUnit, Mockito

·         IDE: Eclipse, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio

·         At least one RDMS and SQL: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server

·         Agile/Iterative development and full SDLC development

·         At least one RIA Framework: jQuery, Angular, YUI, Ext JS, DOJO, Vue.js

·         Front-end web development with JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, Ajax, SASS

·         Requirements include 8 to 12 years of experience (preferably in the financial industry
