Software Developer Outsystems (REMOTE :: W2 ONLY)

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications using OutSystems and Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Build and maintain responsive web applications, APIs, integrations, and workflows that support business and manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to refine user stories, define requirements, and deliver business value.
• Develop and support REST and SOAP APIs, services, and system integrations with internal and external platforms.
• Participate in application modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy applications to supported platforms and architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues in production and non-production environments.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and support materials.
• Perform unit testing, automated testing, and support user acceptance testing activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation initiatives.
• Work closely with infrastructure, security, architecture, and operations teams to ensure secure and supportable solutions.
• Provide production support and participate in on-call activities for critical business systems when required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise business applications.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including:
  • C#
  • ASP.NET
  • .NET Core / .NET 8+
  • REST APIs
• 2+ years of experience developing applications using the OutSystems platform.
• Experience with relational database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience integrating applications through APIs, web services, and messaging technologies.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• OutSystems Associate Reactive Developer Certification or higher.
• Experience migrating applications from low-code platforms to traditional code-based solutions.
• Experience with:
  • Azure DevOps
  • Git
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Docker or container technologies
  • AWS or Azure cloud services
  • Blazor, React, or modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Entity Framework
• Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, order processing, or ERP-related business systems.
• Experience utilizing AI-enabled development tools such as Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot.
• Demonstrated experience with software architecture, design patterns, and scalable enterprise application design
