Role Overview
Responsible for managing and supporting SAP S/4HANA HCM modules, including Cross-Application Time Sheet (CATS) and Payroll, ensuring accurate time recording, payroll processing, compliance, and system optimization. Acts as a subject matter expert for time management and payroll within SAP HCM or SuccessFactors.
Key Responsibilities:
Time Management (CATS):
Configure and maintain SAP CATS for time entry and approval processes
Validate and transfer recorded time data to relevant SAP components (Payroll, Project Systems, etc.)
Support employee self-service and manager approval workflows
Perform testing for SAP support packs, enhancements, and year-end updates.
Payroll:
Design, configure, and maintain SAP Payroll schemas, rules, and wage types.
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in compliance with local regulations.
Troubleshoot payroll-related issues and implement preventive measures.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams for payroll audits and reporting.
Integrate payroll with other SAP modules (HR, Finance, Time Management).
System Support & Projects:
Act as SAP HR/CATS/Payroll subject matter expert for projects and upgrades.
Develop functional specifications and participate in system testing.
Create and maintain training documentation for HR and payroll systems.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with HRMS policies.
Qualifications / Education: Bachelor s degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
5-7 years in SAP S/4HANA HCM, SAP HR, Payroll, and Time Management (CATS).
Hands-on experience with SAP HCM or SuccessFactors EC Payroll.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance.
Proficiency in SAP Payroll configuration tools (e.g., Payroll Control Center, PCRs).
Familiarity with CATS interfaces and time evaluation.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Certifications: SAP S/4HANA HCM or Payroll certification preferred.
Preferred Competencies:
Experience with Kronos or other time-entry systems.
Knowledge of union contract pay rules (if applicable).
Ability to manage end-to-end payroll and time management projects.
