ROLE: ODI DEVELOPER

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer with expertise in PL/SQL, Excel macros, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL development.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in code debugging, producing code fixes, and translating business requirements into technical solutions. This role focuses on developing and maintaining Oracle database applications that integrate Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Financial Systems, with added emphasis on Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PL/SQL code to support business applications.
- Design and implement ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Create and maintain Excel macros to support data manipulation and reporting needs.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve code issues efficiently to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop scalable and robust database solutions that integrate MES and financial systems.
- Work with BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and/or Tableau to support data visualization and reporting needs.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance within database applications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Developer with strong Oracle PL/SQL development skills.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL development.
- Proficiency in creating and managing Excel macros.
- Experience working with BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, and/or Tableau is preferred.
- Strong debugging and code troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Experience integrating Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Financial Systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, collaboration skills and self driven.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred:
- Experience with Oracle database administration, developing and performance tuning SQL queries.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of additional ETL tools or programming languages.
