Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced S4NANA Version Upgrade Project Manager. The consultant will be responsible for delivering end-to-end activities for the project
Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Project Management for the Version Upgrade project involving teams from TCS, Customer, Business Partners and Product OEMs such as SAP, Avalara, Opentext, etc.
- Primary owner to manage TCS scope of work delivered by a combination of onshore consultants and offshore consultants Collaborate with TCS internal and external cross functional stakeholders and teams Status reporting
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager for SAP Version Upgrade projects in onshore offshore model 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager for SAP S4/HANA Version Upgrade projects in onshore offshore model Excellent planning, organizing, controlling, collaboration, communication, reporting, and client-facing skills.
Role Descriptions:
SAP project management for an upgrade using the SAP Activate methodology involves a hybrid| agile approach across five phases Prepare| Explore| Realize| Deploy| and Run.
The project manager leads by defining project governance| performing fit-to-standard analysis to identify gaps| and using agile sprints to build functionality| while focusing on continuous communication and monitoring to ensure the project stays on track.
Key Project Management Responsibilities
Governance and Planning Finalize project scope and develop comprehensive management plans| including detailed project timelines| budgets| and resource allocation.
Agile Leadership Guide teams through the agile Realize phase| ensuring that development iterations align with project goals and that necessary configurations are made.
Risk and Change Management Proactively identify and address risks| manage project changes| and conduct regular status meetings to keep stakeholders informed.
Communication Act as a central point of communication| clearly articulating complex SAP topics to non-technical stakeholders| and ensuring everyone remains aligned.
Monitoring and Control Rigorously track progress against milestones and performance indicators| ensuring the project stays within budget and on schedule.
Stakeholder Management Keep all key stakeholders informed and aligned through regular updates| meetings| and feedback sessions.
