Job Title: Workday Integration Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6+ Months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Remote- Local Preferred but Remote is acceptable

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Specialist to design, develop, implement, and maintain integrations within the Workday cloud-based platform. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Workday HCM and Financials integrations, third-party system integrations, and web services.
The role involves translating business requirements into technical solutions, collaborating with functional stakeholders, and ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient data exchange across enterprise applications.
 
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain complex Workday integration solutions.
  • Develop and configure integrations for Workday HCM, Finance, and Procurement modules.
  • Build and deploy integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and web services.
  • Integrate Workday with third-party vendors and external enterprise applications.
  • Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration specifications.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to understand integration needs.
  • Configure Workday business processes, workflows, and integration solutions.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Validate and reconcile data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain integration security using Integration System Users (ISU), PGP keys, and MFA.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and integration processes.
  • Stay current with Workday releases, enhancements, and integration capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and confidentiality standards.
 
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday integration development.
  • Strong experience developing integrations for both Workday HCM and Financials.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Document Transformation.
  • 5+ years of experience with web services and APIs, including:
    • WSDL and SOAP
    • REST APIs and Web Services standards
    • XML, XSLT, and JSON
    • Java
  • Experience with Workday integration security, including ISU, PGP keys, and MFA.
  • Experience with data migration, integration development, Workday reporting, and calculated fields.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
 
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
