Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Developer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Newark, DE. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves working closely with Business and System Analyst teams to understand system requirements, translating them into low-level designs, and implementing application code according to standard patterns and guidelines. The candidate will also be responsible for unit testing, packaging code for deployment, and providing support to quality assurance and product certification teams.
Responsibilities: - Work with Business and System Analyst teams to understand system requirements
- Translate requirements into low-level design and implement application code
- Unit test code and package it for deployment to higher environments up to Production
- Collaborate with quality assurance and product certification teams to provide support and fixes
Requirements: - Experience in Spring Boot, Core Java, and developing J2EE Applications involving JSP and Servlets
- Experience with IDEs like Eclipse, NetBeans, or IntelliJ
- App Server experience deploying J2EE applications using Websphere, Tomcat, or Apache
- Experience with WebApi
- Working knowledge of Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 or higher with proficiency in .Net Core, C#, and WCF services
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming
- Expertise in web technologies including ASP.Net, .Net MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, and Bootstrap
- Working knowledge of HandleBar, AngularJS, or React
- Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a willingness to accept additional responsibilities
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
