Summary

Lead end-to-end migration planning and execution.

Evaluate workload suitability for migration.

Define migration approaches, such as re-platforming, refactoring, or re-hosting.

Create technical architecture and transition plans.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud and Mainframe capabilities.

Support system integration.

Ensure minimal disruption during cutover and stabilization.

*Skills and Experience:**

Strong hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe environments (z/OS) and core technologies (COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2).

Experience with IMS, MQ, and batch processing.

Practical exposure to cloud platforms, including compute, storage, databases, and containerized workloads.

Solid understanding of cloud architecture and orchestration.

Proven background in large-scale application and data migrations.

Experience with legacy modernization frameworks.

Experience with integration between cloud-based and Mainframe systems.

Experience with scripting and automation (such as Python or Shell).

Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices (a plus).

Prior work in highly regulated or large enterprise environments (preferred).
