Job Title: Digital Marketing Communications Specialist (Cargo Division)
Location: Onsite – SeaTac, WA
Duration: 10-Month W2 Contract
Pay Rate: $38–$45/hour (DOE)
Role Summary
Our client, a leading U.S. airline, is seeking a Digital Marketing Communications Specialist to support its Cargo Marketing team in the Seattle area. This role will help develop and execute content strategy to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention in a B2B environment.
You’ll focus on programs that attract, nurture, and convert leads by driving engagement across the customer lifecycle — including website content, outbound campaigns (email, blogs), eBooks, and more. You’ll partner closely with cargo marketing, business development, sales teams, and external marketing agencies.
Scope & Complexity
This individual contributor role supports email, social, and web marketing initiatives, along with campaign and editorial calendar execution for the Cargo division.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage a multi-channel content roadmap/calendar targeting domestic and international freight forwarders and logistics companies.
- Develop content briefs and drive content production in partnership with creative agencies (blogs, campaign pages, emails, white papers, microsites, social media, etc.).
- Translate complex cargo offerings into compelling content that builds brand awareness and generates quality leads.
- Plan, develop, design, and execute cross-channel organic social and digital strategies (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram) and owned media (newsletters, emails).
- Write high-quality copy aligned to brand voice and marketing narratives, including technical subject matter.
- Lead all cargo division email communications, including promotional and transactional messaging.
- Support additional marketing initiatives and projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of digital marketing experience in a B2B environment.
- Strong writing background (copywriting, PR, marketing communications, etc.).
- Foundational design skills (photography, graphic design basics).
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Kentico, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Google Analytics.
- Advanced experience with Salesforce and Mailchimp.
- Passion for digital marketing and emerging trends.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Air Cargo industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
