Job Details
Requirements:
- 8 or more years of full-stack system development experience in a three-tier environment (COBOL, .NET, Web/Mobile).
- Proficiency in COBOL development with MICROFOCUS Visual COBOL (V7+) using Visual Studio 2019/2022.
- Experience with application programming against RDBMS (Oracle and MS SQL Server).
- Experience with Microsoft C# .NET applications (VB.NET, C#.NET).
- Experience with IIS configuration/setup in Windows Server 2022.
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and troubleshoot assigned system problems within the core business applications (Phoenix II, Web Service, Batch).
- Propose, code, test, and promote solutions ensuring requirements are met.
- Develop new business functions and enhance existing functions within the application framework.
- Craft SQL statements to support required system functionality in Oracle and MS SQL Server databases.
- Provide production troubleshooting support for business logic, batch programming, and data extraction.
- Develop technical approaches and designs with minimal supervision.
- Provide daily and weekly status reports to the Development Manager.
Mentor less experienced project managers and ensure compliance with PMO methodology.
