• Position Title: IT Infrastructure Compliance Engineer

• Location: Santa Clara, CA (100% Onsite, 5 days/week)

• Engagement Type: 12-Month Contract (Potential Full-Time Conversion)

• Travel Requirement: 15 20% Periodic Domestic & International Travel

• Experience Required: 8+ Years in IT Audit, IT Security, Infrastructure, or Technology Risk Management

• Target Certifications: CISA or CISSP preferred

• Core Domains: Infrastructure Audit (Windows/Unix, Storage), Network Security (Firewalls, TCP/IP, Protocols), B2B Integrations (APIs, EDI, SFTP), Manufacturing Systems (MES, PLM, SAP), Cloud (AWS/Azure)

Key Responsibilities:

• Enterprise Infrastructure & Application Audits: Lead and execute IT security audits across server systems, storage, cloud, and core enterprise platforms including MES, PLM, and SAP/ERP.

• Third-Party & B2B Integration Risk Management: Assess security controls, data protection, and IP safeguards for external partner integrations. Audit network segmentation, access controls, and data transmission channels (APIs, EDI, SFTP).

• Onsite Operational Escalations: Serve as the primary regional IT contact, coordinating between global engineering teams and vendors to manage urgent connectivity or server escalations.

• Compliance Frameworks & Data Integrity: Benchmark IT operations against ISO 27001 and SOX frameworks. Utilize data analytics tools (SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau) to audit data flowing into enterprise data warehouses.

• Reporting & Remediation: Draft actionable audit reports for executive leadership and oversee remediation tracking.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure, IT Security, IT Audit, or Technology Risk Management.

• Solid technical grounding in Windows/Unix server administration, virtualization, and enterprise storage systems.

• Deep network security audit expertise (TCP/IP routing, firewall policy evaluation, DNS, DHCP, HTTPS, SSH).

• Working familiarity with cloud security (AWS / Azure) and Identity and Access Management (IAM).

• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOX.

• Ability to travel up to 15 20% domestically and internationally.

• Bachelor s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Supply Chain, or equivalent field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-tech or manufacturing environments auditing MES, PLM, and Shop Floor Control systems.

• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI for automated audit testing.

• Industry certifications such as CISA or CISSP.
