Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled C++ Developer with hands-on experience in Solaris environments to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in system-level programming, debugging, and working with legacy and modern C++ codebases on Unix-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C++ in Solaris/Unix environments

Analyze requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable code

Debug and resolve complex technical issues, including performance bottlenecks

Work with system-level components such as memory management, multithreading, and networking

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Maintain and enhance existing legacy systems

Participate in code reviews and ensure best coding practices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17 or later preferred)

Hands-on experience with Solaris or Unix/Linux operating systems

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design

Experience with multithreading, concurrency, and memory management

Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., gdb, dbx)

Experience with build systems (Makefiles, CMake)

Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash/Korn shell)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with legacy system modernization

Exposure to networking protocols (TCP/IP)

Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN)

Understanding of performance tuning and optimization

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have:

Experience in financial systems, telecom, or enterprise-grade applications
