Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer to drive measurable improvements in Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance within aerospace manufacturing operations in Indianapolis.
This role will lead structured improvement initiatives using a DMAIC-based Lean Six Sigma approach, ensuring decisions are data-driven and outcomes produce sustained, quantifiable business impact. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a strong manufacturing background and a proven record of delivering measurable operational results.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute QCD improvement initiatives using DMAIC methodology.
* Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify root causes and performance gaps.
* Develop and implement process improvements that reduce waste, improve cycle time, increase yield, and lower cost.
* Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to align on improvement priorities.
* Establish and track KPIs to validate impact and sustain performance gains.
* Coach and train team members on Lean Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement principles.

Required Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of aerospace manufacturing experience with strong exposure to process improvement initiatives.
* Proven experience driving measurable business impact using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
* Bachelor"s Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
* Strong analytical capability including statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and KPI development.
* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment.
* Track record of quantified results (cost savings, yield improvement, cycle time reduction, OTD improvement, etc.).
* Due to the nature of the work ship required.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Standard Work.
* Familiarity with aerospace QMS environments (AS9100 preferred).
* Experience working within KPI-driven operational performance systems.
