Role             : Commissioning (Cx) Engineer / Specialist

Location       : Midland, TX (Onsite)
Duration       : Long term contract

Experience    : 3 to 5 years needed

Job Summary:

We are actively looking for experienced Commissioning (Cx) Engineers for a major Data Center project (AWS) located near Midland, Texas. The role focuses heavily on BMS (Building Management System) and EPMS (Electrical Power Management System) commissioning (Note: Project scope is similar to previous Atlanta builds, excluding liquid cooling).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting for BMS and EPMS systems in mission-critical data center environments.
• Execute Functional Performance Testing (FPT), Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and point-to-point verification.
• Coordinate with on-site construction, electrical, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless project delivery across multiple buildings.
• Review sequences of operation, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Document test results, track punch lists, and report issues promptly to project management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Center Commissioning, Testing & Balancing (TAB), or Controls (BMS/EPMS).
• Strong technical understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS), HVAC, and power distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical single-lines, control drawings, and P&IDs.
• Willingness to work on-site in Midland, TX (Near Fort Stockton / MAF Airport).
• Strong communication and documentation skills for client-facing coordination.
