About the Role:
We are hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our client s cloud engineering team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative financial technology organizations in the U.S. You ll help drive cloud automation, application deployment, and secure AI/ML integrations across mission-critical platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Configure and maintain AWS Bedrock services for AI/ML and generative AI integrations
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Use Helm charts to package and deploy Kubernetes-based applications
- Support deployment and integration of a vendor SaaS platform in a secure cloud environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and vendor teams
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot cloud/application issues, and optimize resource usage
- Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and best practices
- Create and maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and operational procedures
- What We re Looking For: 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, AWS Bedrock, and AI/ML tools
- Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Solid understanding of networking and security in cloud environments
- Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
- AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) preferred
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $65 $70 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
