The Role
Theclient is a preeminent computational research organization based in New York City. They are dedicated to developing and utilizing advanced computational technologies to understand biological and pharmaceutically significant molecules at an atomic level. Their mission is to design precisely targeted, highly selective drugs for the treatment of various diseases using a combination of proprietary supercomputing, machine learning, and high-speed commodity hardware.
The client is seeking an exceptionally accomplished, articulate, and proactive individual to serve as a Strategic Operations Associate. In this high-visibility role, you will provide comprehensive support to members of the organization’s Executive Committee. This position is ideal for a highly resourceful generalist who can manage complex logistics while contributing to the operational success of a world-class scientific team.
Core Responsibilities
Executive Committee Support: Provide sophisticated administrative assistance to senior leadership, ensuring the efficient operation of the executive office.
Complex Coordination: Manage intricate scheduling, global travel logistics, and high-priority event coordination.
Financial Operations: Oversee expense reporting and reconciliation with meticulous attention to detail.
Ad Hoc Research: Conduct independent research projects related to technology, pharmaceuticals, or strategic organizational goals.
Project Management: Take full ownership of multiple concurrent projects, solving problems effectively and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
Professional Liaison: Serve as a polished and professional point of contact for internal teams and external collaborators.
