Product Owner AI/ML (Dataiku DSS)

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner AI/ML with hands-on Dataiku DSS expertise to lead enterprise-scale AI/ML initiatives. This role owns the end-to-end model lifecycle, drives business-aligned AI product outcomes, and partners closely with Data Science, Engineering, Governance, and MLOps teams.

• Pure Data Engineers or Data Scientists without Product Owner responsibilities

• Candidates with multiple short-tenure roles and limited delivery ownership

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the AI/ML product roadmap, feature backlog, and delivery plan aligned with enterprise AI strategy

• Lead ideation, intake, and prioritization of high-value AI/ML use cases

• Translate business problems into ML requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

• Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams

• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Leads within Dataiku DSS workflows

• Own end-to-end ML model lifecycle including design, development, deployment, monitoring, and iteration

• Ensure ML initiatives comply with enterprise data governance, risk, and MLOps standards

• Communicate model metrics, insights, and outcomes in clear business terms

• Drive Dataiku adoption, enablement, and AI/ML literacy across the organization

• Develop training materials and champion an AI/ML community of practice

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Business Analytics

• 5+ years experience as a Product Owner / Data Product Manager

• 2+ years hands-on experience with Dataiku DSS in enterprise environments

• Strong experience owning model lifecycle management (design deployment monitoring)

• Proven success delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions

• Experience translating ML outputs into measurable business value

• Hands-on knowledge of Dataiku Flow design, visual recipes, scenarios, managed folders, and model evaluation

• Familiarity with Python, SQL, or R

• Experience working with Azure ML environments (strongly preferred)

• Solid understanding of MLOps, model drift monitoring, and AI governance

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Dataiku Certifications: Core Designer, Advanced Designer, ML Practitioner

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Agile certification

• Cloud certifications (Azure preferred; AWS/Google Cloud Platform acceptable)

• Experience with Snowflake, Azure Data Lake (ADLS), Databricks, APIs

• Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or Dataiku dashboards
