Job Description

We are seeking an experienced BW Migration Lead to drive end-to-end migration initiatives from traditional SAP BW environments to modern SAP data platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP BW, SAP BDC, Datasphere, and data integration strategies, particularly within the Finance domain.

This role involves leading large-scale data migration projects, designing modern data architectures, and ensuring seamless integration across SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud and advanced analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration from SAP BW classical on-premises systems to SAP BDC (Business Data Cloud)
• Manage the full lifecycle of the SAP BDC platform and related components
• Design and implement scalable data integration strategies using SAP BTP, Datasphere, and Databricks
• Work with Finance domain stakeholders to deliver data products using BDC Data Product Generator
• Build and optimize data models using graphical and SQL views in SAP Datasphere
• Develop analytical datasets, fact tables, and dimension views
• Integrate SAP BW with Datasphere and SAP BW Bridge
• Ensure seamless data orchestration across SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud
• Analyze and understand SAP data structures to ensure accurate data migration and transformation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for solution design, testing, and deployment
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to the team

Required Skills

• Strong experience with BDC Data Product Generator in the Finance domain
• Proven experience in SAP BW migration (on-premises to SAP BDC)
• Deep knowledge of SAP BW architecture and data modeling
• Strong understanding of SAP data structures and data flow
• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere architecture
• Expertise in data modeling using graphical views and SQL views
• Experience building analytical datasets (facts and dimensions)
• Experience with SAP BW Bridge and Datasphere integration points
• Strong experience in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
• Experience integrating data using Databricks
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud integration
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP Joule Studio and building AI capabilities in SAP
• Exposure to advanced analytics and AI-driven data solutions
• Experience with cloud-native data architectures
