Summary

We are looking for Technical Project Manager for our client in Issaquah, WA.

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

Job Location: Issaquah, WA

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $58hr - $63hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 10+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 5 years in technical delivery.
  • Strong technical understanding of legacy systems: IBMi AS/400 (RPG/COBOL familiarity a plus).
  • Cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform, Azure (compute, storage, networking, security).
  • Middleware & UI: Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, ReactJS.
  • Solid grasp of SDLC, DevOps, and Agile project delivery.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale modernization or migration initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of replatforming and modernization projects across Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define solution designs, migration strategies, and integration patterns.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and risks using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
  • Translate technical concepts into business-friendly updates for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Oversee technical delivery across IBMi (AS/400), Java/Spring Boot services, and ReactJS/NextJS UI components.
  • Drive cloud migration planning, DevOps enablement, and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Foster collaboration and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification preferred.
  • Cloud certification (Azure or Google Cloud Platform) a strong plus.
  • Experience working in large enterprise or high-volume environments.

  • Strong balance of technical depth and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence and align diverse teams.
  • Passion for modernization, cloud, and emerging technologies.
  • Results-driven, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
