About Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Strategy & Governance: Define and implement data governance, policies, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Data Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable and robust data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines.
• Data Engineering: Lead the development, optimization, and maintenance of ETL/ELT processes to ensure efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Analytics & Insights: Work closely with data analysts and scientists to support analytics initiatives, ensuring accurate and timely data availability.
• Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to understand data needs and provide strategic solutions.
• Technology Stack: Evaluate and recommend modern data technologies, tools, and frameworks to optimize data workflows.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in data engineering, data management, or a related role.
• Expertise in SQL, NoSQL databases, and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and related data services.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and data modeling.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with data governance, security, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in PostgreSQL and Data Modelling
