About the Role
Our firm is hiring a Desktop Support Analyst on behalf of a well established organization operating in a corporate enterprise IT environment. This role provides first and second level technical support to internal users and plays a key part in maintaining reliable desktop systems, peripherals, and standard business applications. The ideal candidate is customer focused, technically skilled, and comfortable supporting users in a fast paced setting.

Job Description
The Desktop Support Analyst delivers hands on desktop and help desk support, including diagnosing hardware and software issues, performing system updates, and supporting standard business applications. This position works closely with end users and internal IT teams to resolve issues efficiently while following established processes and documentation standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting desktop computers and peripherals such as printers, scanners, and tablets
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and desktop application issues
Installing and upgrading desktop software and operating systems
Performing hardware changes including adds, moves, and changes
Assisting users with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Supporting network user access, permissions, and related issues
Documenting incidents, fixes, and service requests in an online ticketing system
Maintaining accurate and up to date technical documentation
Following established IT standards, processes, and security protocols
Participating in special projects and providing general IT department support as assigned
Staying current on desktop technologies, tools, and best practices to improve system stability and reduce costs

Qualifications
Required

Two year technical degree in desktop hardware and software support or equivalent experience
Three plus years of experience in a desktop support or help desk environment
Hands on experience troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, and operating systems
Experience with Active Directory and SCCM
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non technical users
Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively in a fast paced, high pressure environment

Preferred

A-plus certification
Experience supporting enterprise IT environments
Knowledge of basic network operations and user access management
Familiarity with project management concepts and participation in IT projects
