Payments Product Owner SWIFT SME
Location: Washington, DC (Onsite: 5 days per week)
12+ Months Contract
Seeking a hands-on Payments Product Owner with deep expertise in SWIFT MT, ISO 20022 MX, CBPR+, and cross-border payments.
Responsibilities
- Own requirements for SWIFT payments, cash management, UETR tracking, and payment traceability.
- Define processing rules for MT103, MT202, pacs.008, pacs.009, and camt.052/053/054.
- Support correspondent banking, nostro/vostro, intermediary bank, and settlement workflows.
- Ensure compliance with SWIFT releases, mapping rules, AML, and sanctions requirements.
- Convert business requirements into ADO epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Improve STP by analyzing rejects, returns, repair queues, investigations, and reconciliation issues.
Required: Strong SWIFT/ISO 20022 expertise, payments domain experience, and hands-on Azure DevOps knowledge.
