As a Power Platform Delivery Lead supporting a prominent Randstad client in Washington, DC, you will serve as the strategic bridge between high-stakes business needs and technical platform stability. This role is a "rescue and refine" mission: you will rapidly assess and stabilize existing high-risk applications while architecting the governance guardrails necessary for enterprise-scale success. Your focus will be on transforming the MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) from a collection of siloed tools into a governed, high-visibility ecosystem by implementing canonical data patterns, automated promotion paths, and native monitoring that balances innovation with strict operational security.

responsibilities:
Stabilization & Remediation: Rapidly assess and operationalize high-risk Power Platform applications to mitigate governance and operational threats.
Governance Architecture: Replace manual reviews with embedded platform configurations to enforce security, access, and promotion standards.
Data Strategy: Establish enterprise-level data access patterns and validate Power BI Gateway configurations to ensure seamless, secure connectivity.
ALM & Deployment: Define and implement lightweight, repeatable promotion paths (Dev-to-Prod) to streamline the application lifecycle.
Operational Visibility: Enable baseline, platform-native monitoring to provide real-time insights into usage and performance.
Licensing & Compliance: Validate that all technical patterns align with existing licensing models and explicitly identify material constraints.
Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of the platform scope, ensuring all milestones are met within the DC client's specific regulatory framework.
qualifications:
Platform Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of the MS Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Architectural Mindset: Proven experience in current-state assessments focusing on security, data connectivity, and governance enforcement.
ALM Mastery: Demonstrated ability to build and manage application promotion practices and environment strategies.
Technical Problem-Solving: Ability to stabilize "Shadow IT" or legacy builds that represent significant organizational risk.
Communication & Clarity: Skill in documenting technical constraints and presenting complex licensing or architectural data to stakeholders.
Local Context: Ability to work effectively within the professional environment of a major DC-based organization or federal entity.
