Radio Repair Technician

Two-Way Radio Hardware Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair two-way radios, repeaters, and related communication equipment
• Troubleshoot hardware, RF issues, power supplies, and circuit boards
• Perform bench repairs, programming, and software/firmware updates
• Conduct routine testing and maintenance
• Maintain basic repair and service documentation
• Provide technical support to customers and internal teams

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year in a technical, electronics, IT, or mechanical role or strong technical aptitude
• Basic experience with electronic or digital equipment preferred
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic diagnostic tools
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn (training provided)
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors, on rooftops, and at heights
• Willing to travel up to 10%
• Valid driver's license

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience with two-way radio systems or RF equipment
• Multimeter or basic electronics testing experience
• OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

This is a Permanent position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $66560.00/yr.
