Duration: 11+ Months

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Site Separation & Technology Cutover to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of technology separation activities for a Charlotte, NC site as part of the transition from Solventum to the client technology ecosystem.

The Project Manager will drive end-to-end site separation planning across applications, infrastructure, technology services, business processes, and cutover activities while minimizing disruption to manufacturing and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of the site technology separation program.
  • Develop project strategy, governance framework, roadmap, and implementation approach.
  • Align business objectives, technology workstreams, and enterprise milestones.
  • Drive multiple concurrent technical and business workstreams.

Site Separation Planning

Coordinate planning across:

  • Enterprise applications
  • Infrastructure services
  • Technology platforms
  • Network readiness
  • End-user computing
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Site operational processes
  • Technology service transitions
  • Business continuity

Technology Cutover Management

Develop and execute comprehensive cutover plans covering:

  • Activity sequencing and technical dependencies
  • Business readiness checkpoints
  • Resource and ownership planning
  • Cutover timelines
  • Go/No-Go criteria
  • Rollback planning
  • Business validation
  • Hypercare and stabilization

ERP Dependency Management

  • Track ERP milestones and implementation dependencies.
  • Coordinate ERP readiness activities.
  • Assess impacts on the overall separation timeline.
  • Identify integration risks.
  • Incorporate ERP deliverables into the master cutover plan.

Integrated Project Planning

  • Maintain detailed project plans, milestones, deliverables, and resource plans.
  • Perform critical-path and dependency analysis.
  • Maintain RAID logs and readiness checkpoints.
  • Track actions and provide executive reporting.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with:

Drive accountability across teams without direct reporting authority.

Risk, Governance & Executive Reporting

  • Identify and manage technical, business, infrastructure, resource, schedule, application, and site-readiness risks.
  • Facilitate governance, steering committee, readiness, cutover, daily execution, and Go/No-Go meetings.
  • Prepare executive dashboards covering project health, risks, issues, milestones, dependencies, budget, and cutover readiness.

Change Management & Business Readiness

  • Coordinate communication and business engagement.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure user readiness and training coordination.
  • Support transition planning and post-cutover activities.

Hypercare & Transition

  • Coordinate cutover execution and hypercare.
  • Manage issue triage and stabilization.
  • Coordinate knowledge transfer and operational handoff.
  • Transition the environment to steady-state support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of project management experience delivering complex enterprise technology initiatives.
  • 7+ years managing site transitions, technology transformations, infrastructure migrations, enterprise application implementations, or large-scale IT deployments.
  • 5+ years coordinating multiple cross-functional technical and business teams.
  • 8+ years of experience in:
    • Project planning
    • Dependency management
    • RAID management
    • Executive reporting
    • Governance
    • Stakeholder management
  • 5+ years of experience with:
    • Technology cutovers
    • Infrastructure transitions
    • Application migrations
    • Site readiness planning
    • Operational support models
  • Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Experience working in fast-paced enterprise transformation programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with M&A integration, divestitures, site separation, or technology carve-outs.
  • ERP implementation experience, including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Medical Devices, Manufacturing, or regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure Operations, Network Readiness, End User Services, IAM, Application Support, Service Management, and Business Continuity.
  • Enterprise PMO governance experience.
  • ITIL knowledge.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Planview, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification preferred.
