Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in enterprise application development and backend services.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE

• Enterprise application development experience

• Backend development and RESTful services

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and Java frameworks

• Experience with SQL and relational databases

• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining scalable applications

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Previous experience with a major financial services organization is required

• Candidates must be able to work in Virginia (VA)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications

• Develop and enhance backend services and APIs

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions

• Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle

• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support

• Follow established coding standards and development best practices
