Summary

Overview

The Software Developer, Senior is responsible for full stack development on the Windows platform with experience in Project Management and Agile methodologies. This position involves interacting with project stakeholders and designing solutions to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Interacting with project stakeholders and designing solutions to meet their needs.
  • Ability to Manage and facilitate the Agile processes for teams.
  • Create and test software prototypes
  • Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps
  • Ability to use the following applications:
    • UX Design (HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery)
    • ASP.NET (MVC, Web API, C#)
    • REST/JSON concepts
    • Database design and implementation (SQL Server, Oracle)
    • Source control such as TFS or Git
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Experience in software engineer designing and developing applications utilizing modern technologies and platforms.
  • Experience working in a SCRUM environment participating in agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs
  • Ability to react to change requests from customers in an effective manner
  • Proven record of learning and adapting new technologies
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high-level attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast past environment with changing priorities; adaptable to change and a quick learner.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently as well as on a multi-functional team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Working Conditions
  • Professional office environment, with the ability to work onsite.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
  • May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.

Pay Range

USD $170,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
