Position Summary
TEPCO Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Senior Systems & Infrastructure Administrator to join our growing team. This individual will work closely with our existing IT to manage, maintain, secure, and enhance the company''s technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess broad technical expertise spanning server administration, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, networking, database management, Microsoft technologies, and enterprise applications.
This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of TEPCO''s technology environment while supporting business operations, training platforms, project delivery systems, and emerging business intelligence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
· Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
· Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user authentication systems.
· Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related applications.
· Provision, configure, and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
· Manage user onboarding, offboarding, permissions, and account administration.
· Monitor system performance, availability, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
· Lead efforts related to network security, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity best practices.
· Maintain firewalls, security appliances, antivirus solutions, and threat monitoring systems.
· Manage multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and security controls.
· Conduct security assessments and assist with remediation efforts.
· Develop and maintain IT security policies and procedures.
· Assist with business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Cloud & Microsoft Technologies
· Administer Microsoft Azure environments and cloud-based infrastructure.
· Support cloud migrations and hybrid infrastructure initiatives.
· Manage Azure Active Directory, virtual machines, storage, networking, and security configurations.
· Support Microsoft Power Platform solutions including Power Apps, Power Automate, and related technologies.
· Assist internal teams with cloud-based application integrations and automation initiatives.
Database Administration
· Administer Microsoft SQL Server environments.
· Monitor database performance, backups, maintenance plans, and security.
· Support internal applications and reporting systems dependent upon SQL databases.
· Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to support data architecture and reporting initiatives.
Business Applications & Enterprise Systems
· Administer and support Primavera P6 environments and related training databases.
· Support internal SharePoint environments and document management systems.
· Maintain training environments and application servers utilized by TEPCO clients and instructors.
· Manage integrations and support for business-critical software applications.
· Coordinate software deployments, upgrades, licensing, and vendor support.
Networking & Telecommunications
· Administer Meraki networking infrastructure including switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and VPN connectivity.
· Manage corporate Wi-Fi networks and remote connectivity solutions.
· Support Verizon telecommunications services and mobile device management.
· Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.
· Maintain network documentation and architecture diagrams.
Business Intelligence & Innovation Support
· Partner with TEPCO''s Business Intelligence and technology teams to support Power BI, Power Apps, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and emerging AI initiatives.
· Assist with infrastructure planning and optimization for analytics platforms.
· Support data integration, security, and performance requirements for reporting environments.
· Participate in evaluating and implementing new technologies that improve operational efficiency and client service delivery.
Vendor & Project Management
· Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, software providers, and service partners.
· Assist with IT project planning, budgeting, implementation, and lifecycle management.
· Maintain hardware and software inventories.
· Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Administration, or related IT roles.
· Strong experience administering Windows Server environments.
· Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
· Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
· Experience supporting enterprise networking environments.
· Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration.
· Experience with cybersecurity tools and best practices.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Meraki networking solutions.
· Experience supporting Primavera P6 environments.
· Experience with SharePoint administration.
· Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
· Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern data platforms.
· Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, Security, or Server Administration).
· Experience supporting professional services, engineering, construction, industrial, or project controls organizations.
