Job Title: Lead JavaScript Developer (Vue.js, Nuxt.js)
Responsibilities
- Migrate hybrid mobile application from Angular to Vue
- Simplify existing business logic, and determine best practice for approach, and architecture
- Design, develop, enhance, and support the features across mission critical- warehouse and transportation management applications which are heavily leveraged by our field resources
- Take end-to-end- ownership of assigned application areas, including design, development, application performance, testing, deployment, and, when required, production support
- Proactively identify system improvements, technical debt, and operational risks rather than working solely from a ticket backlog
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, and other engineers to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Provide mentoring and technical leadership to other developers and contribute to coding standards and architectural decisions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal disruption to plant and transportation operations
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise security, scalability, and operational standards
Required Skills
- Proficient with AI-assisted development tools for code generation and analysis, with strong emphasis on human review, validation, and technical ownership
- Strong hands-on- experience with front end frameworks. Vue/Nuxt, Svelte, etc.
- Working familiarity with Docker, Git, and AWS in an enterprise application environment
- Prior experience leveraging Firestore or other real time databases.
- Proven experience developing and supporting production-grade, enterprise applications
- Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience leveraging testing tools such as Playwright, and Vitest/Jest for application testing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior practical experience with Vue, Nuxt, and Angular
- Experience with Angular a plus (primary framework is Nuxt)
- Prior experience re-platforming/re-writing enterprise applications
- Prior practical experience with state management tool like Pinia, Nuxt useSate, and RxJS
- Experience developing framework agnostic hybrid apps for iPad/iPhone (Ionic, Capacitor, etc.)
- Experience working in large, distributed enterprise environments
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment models
