Job Description

We are seeking an Identity Management Contractor to join our dynamic team supporting a Deloitte project. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Google Cloud Platform IAM, Terraform, and Python automation, and a proven ability to implement least-privilege access controls and produce audit-ready evidence in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage identity management systems to support user authentication and authorization.


• Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies and procedures per project requirements.


• Provision and manage Google Cloud Platform IAM constructs (roles, bindings, service accounts) across projects using Terraform and Git-based workflows.


• Implement least-privilege patterns for application onboarding, including runtime identity, human access, and break-glass.


• Support identity integrations and group/role mappings aligned with enterprise standards.


• Troubleshoot and resolve access issues and partner with platform, network, and security teams to remove blockers.


• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.


• Produce onboarding evidence such as access approvals, deployment records, and audit log pointers, and maintain documentation and runbooks.


• Develop and maintain documentation for identity management processes and configurations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform IAM experience, including roles, service accounts, and policy inheritance concepts.


• Terraform fundamentals, including modules and state basics, with disciplined Git/PR workflows.


• Scripting proficiency in Python for automation and validation tasks.


• Familiarity with change and release processes and experience working in controlled environments.


• Experience level: Advanced, 6-9 years in relevant roles.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience producing audit-ready evidence for regulated environments.


• Knowledge of enterprise identity integrations, group/role mapping, and least-privilege design.
