Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer/Administrator to support a large-scale cloud migration and IT modernization initiative within a complex enterprise healthcare environment. This hybrid role will be based in Houston, TX, requiring a combination of onsite and remote work.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development and administration, along with experience supporting cloud migration projects and enterprise IT environments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow modules and applications.
  • Support ServiceNow platform enhancements aligned with cloud migration initiatives.
  • Build and customize workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and other enterprise systems.
  • Participate in CMDB optimization and service mapping as part of cloud transition efforts.
  • Support ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, and other ServiceNow modules as required.
  • Assist in migrating on-premise processes and services into cloud-aligned workflows.
  • Perform platform upgrades, patching, and performance optimization.
  • Maintain data integrity, security roles, access controls, and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams.
  • Provide documentation, user training, and production support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
  • Strong experience with ITSM module configuration and customization.
  • Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Experience supporting cloud migration or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Experience with ITOM, ITAM, or SecOps modules.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
  • Experience in healthcare or other highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, NIST).
