Responsibilities:
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a software detective, providing dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
Providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role.
Expert proficiency in Oracle WebCenter Sites is required.
Expert proficiency in Oracle WebCenter Portal is recommended.
Develop deep expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
Support and guide colleagues by sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence and improve system design and operational processes.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of support procedures and documentation to elevate service quality.
Analyze recurring problems and propose innovative solutions to prevent future incidents and optimize system stability.
