Senior Java Developer

Introduction:

The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing enterprise-grade software in an Agile environment. They will work on building Restful APIs using Spring Boot, front-end development with Angular, and will have hands-on experience with modern build, CI/CD, and containerization tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong testing mindset and be knowledgeable in cloud technologies and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test enterprise-grade software in an Agile environment
• Build Restful APIs using Spring Boot
• Work on front-end development with Angular and modern UI patterns
• Utilize modern build, CI/CD, and containerization tools such as Git, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, VSCode, and IntelliJ
• Write JUnit tests using Mockito and Jasmine for front-end unit testing
• Work with cloud technologies, AWS, and Kubernetes - Istio and helm charts
• Communicate with technical and non-technical partners and influence outcomes through collaboration
• Demonstrate a passion for hands-on software development and strive to be innovative

Requirements:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in designing, developing, and testing enterprise-grade software in an Agile environment
• Expertise in Java, designing and building Restful APIs using Spring Boot
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• Front-end development experience with Angular and modern UI patterns
• Hands-on experience with modern build, CI/CD, and containerization tools including Git, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, VSCode, and IntelliJ
• Strong testing mindset with experience writing JUnit tests using Mockito and Jasmine for front-end unit testing
• Knowledge and experience in cloud technologies and working with Kubernetes - Istio and helm charts
• Good communication skills and ability to interface and influence with business lines and IT

Preferred:

• Experience with GenAI-enabled development tools
• Knowledge of Python, Rafay, and SonarQube
