General Summary:

We are seeking a Systems Analyst to join a collaborative, high-performing team focused on building the next generation of tools and business systems that support the continued success of Qualcomm's Technology Licensing (QTL), Legal Operations, and Patent Execution organizations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, system implementation and production system support. Previous experience in software configuration or development is a must, with experience in SQL, Python and AI Automation solutions a huge plus. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a unique domain, solve challenging programs, deliver new features and expand your technology skillset.

A proven track record of working effectively with highly talented professionals to develop creative solutions to complex problems. Solid communication and interpersonal skills are critical to the role.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
System Implementation and Support: End-to-end implementation of modern system solutions by executing the full SDLC using Agile methodologies, from requirement analysis through deployment and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Interface directly with business owners and subject matter experts to understand objectives and problem statements.
Requirements Translation: Translate complex business needs into technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development and implementation.
Opportunity Analysis: Analyze and evaluate current IT systems, workflows, and business processes to identify opportunities for automation and enhancements.
Testing and Validation: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), assessing model performance, accuracy, and efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications & Skillsets:
Works independently and takes responsibility for their own work.
Communication and presentation skills to convey complex messages to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question.
Detail oriented and able to independently follow up on action items and commit to deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Working knowledge or exposure to some of the following is a must:
Experience with modern AI and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, IBM Watson, Data Robot, ChatGPT/Copilot, and AI-driven automation tools used for analytics, documentation, workflow automation, and predictive insights.
Understanding of logical and physical data modeling, data warehousing architecture and concepts.
Understanding of databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Redshift, Snowflake
Understanding of other tools such as: , Databricks, n8n, Informatica, Glue, Talend
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of AI ethics, bias detection, and explainability frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF).
Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.

Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
OR
5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor's degree.

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:
$44.23 - $66.35

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
