Summary
Job Description: Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Product Owner
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior AEM Product Owner to lead the product strategy, roadmap, and continuous improvement of an enterprise Adobe Experience Manager platform supporting a global Content Supply Chain (CSC).
The successful candidate will work closely with marketing, creative, agency, business operations, engineering, and Adobe vendor teams to improve the end-to-end content lifecycle, including content intake, planning, creation, review, approval, distribution, and reuse.
This role requires a strong combination of business acumen, product ownership, AEM functional expertise, stakeholder management, Agile delivery experience, and familiarity with pharmaceutical industry processes.
The ideal candidate is not simply an AEM developer or administrator. We need an experienced Product Owner who understands enterprise digital asset management, has worked with pharmaceutical clients, and can translate business objectives into a clear product strategy, prioritized roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy and Roadmap Management
Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AEM platform.
Develop and maintain multi-quarter product roadmaps aligned with marketing and business objectives.
Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, platform enhancements, and opportunities for innovation.
Prioritize new capabilities, technical debt, enhancements, and platform upgrades based on business value, effort, risk, and dependencies.
Evaluate configuration versus customization and recommend solutions that maximize platform capabilities while minimizing long-term maintenance.
Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to measure product success.
2. AEM Assets and Digital Asset Management
Serve as the functional Product Owner for Adobe Experience Manager, particularly AEM Assets and Digital Asset Management (DAM).
Demonstrate strong knowledge of:
Asset metadata schemas, taxonomy, and tagging.
Digital asset organization, folder structures, and access permissions.
Content workflows, templates, and components.
Content Fragments and reusable content.
Dynamic Media, asset renditions, and distribution.
AEM Assets as a Cloud Service.
Content Hub and Brand Portal.
Collaborate with technical architects and engineering teams to ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Support platform modernization, enhancements, and the adoption of new Adobe capabilities.
3. Product Backlog and Agile Delivery
Own and maintain the product backlog using Jira.
Translate business requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Prioritize backlog items based on business value, delivery effort, and dependencies.
Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Delivery Leads, architects, developers, and QA teams.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, demonstrations, and release planning.
Review completed features and confirm that delivered capabilities meet agreed business acceptance criteria.
Manage delivery dependencies, scope changes, and competing priorities across business and technical teams.
4. Adobe Ecosystem and Content Supply Chain Integration
Understand how AEM integrates with other Adobe platforms, including Adobe Workfront, Workfront Fusion, Adobe Express, and Adobe Experience Cloud.
Understand Workfront capabilities such as request queues, custom forms, project templates, proofing, and approval workflows.
Collaborate with technical teams on Workfront-to-AEM integrations involving asset management, metadata synchronization, and workflow automation.
Support AEM Assets and Adobe Express integration for governed content creation using brand kits and templates.
Partner with architects on integrations with Veeva Vault PromoMats, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and agency tools.
Stay informed about emerging Adobe capabilities, including Adobe Firefly and generative AI tools.
5. Pharmaceutical Content Supply Chain and Compliance
Must have experience working with pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical clients.
Understand pharmaceutical marketing content operations, compliance expectations, and regulated content workflows.
Be familiar with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review and approval processes.
Understand how marketing content progresses through creation, internal review, regulatory approval, publication, and withdrawal.
Familiarity with Veeva Vault PromoMats or similar regulated content management platforms is highly desirable.
Support content governance, document versioning, approval status, asset expiry, and modular content reuse.
Partner with business and compliance stakeholders to ensure platform processes align with applicable quality, privacy, security, and computer system validation requirements.
6. Business Stakeholder and Vendor Management
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical delivery teams, and Adobe product teams.
Conduct discovery workshops with marketing, creative, agency, and operations stakeholders.
Gather requirements, identify process gaps, and recommend platform improvements.
Communicate product roadmaps, priorities, risks, trade-offs, and delivery progress to leadership.
Build consensus among stakeholders with competing business priorities.
Work with Adobe Product and Customer Success teams on enhancements, escalations, and platform capabilities.
Promote collaboration, accountability, transparency, and effective communication across teams.
7. Product Adoption and Continuous Improvement
Support user adoption, change management, training, and platform enablement.
Apply personas, user journeys, process mapping, and prototyping to improve user experiences.
Track outcomes such as content cycle time, asset reuse, platform adoption, user satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Identify opportunities to streamline content production and reduce manual activities.
Drive continuous improvement based on business feedback and measurable results.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or enterprise digital platform delivery.
3+ years as a Product Owner for AEM or a comparable DAM/content platform.

Company Info
Centillion Infotech LLC has served clients since 2017 from our US headquarters in Coppell, Texas, and our India office in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. We work with organizations across the United States and India that need both the technology capability to change a system and the workforce capability to keep it running.
That combination is deliberate. Modernization programs stall when strategy, engineering and staffing sit with three parties who each own a fragment of the outcome.
