Job Summary

We are seeking an Assembler (Electrical/Mechanical) to assemble components and subassemblies according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical and mechanical parts, components, and subassemblies.
  • Read and follow written and verbal work instructions, blueprints, drawings, parts lists, and specifications.
  • Gather required parts, tools, and materials for assembly.
  • Position components using templates, measurements, and established procedures.
  • Examine connections and securely fasten components during assembly.
  • Use rulers and precision measuring tools to verify completed assemblies meet specifications.
  • Identify and resolve basic assembly issues and escalate problems when necessary.
  • Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Complete production, quality, and other required documentation accurately.
  • Identify faulty equipment, damaged components, incorrect orders, and material shortages.
  • Maintain inventory and ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized 5S work environment.
  • Support warehouse and facility housekeeping activities as needed.
  • Participate in team and HPT functions and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or approximately 1 year of related assembly/manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Previous electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, or production assembly experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly instructions, drawings, specifications, charts, and tables.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler and use measuring tools.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot basic assembly issues.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hands, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Ability to lift/move 10 lbs regularly, 25 lbs occasionally, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, vibration, and moderate noise.
Work Environment
  • Production/manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical equipment and vibration.
  • Occasional outdoor weather exposure.
  • Moderate noise level.
  • Must follow all applicable safety and housekeeping requirements.
