Summary

Job Title: Data Integration Engineer
Location: Valencia, CA 91355
Note: Client is not open to candidates who must relocate. 
Work Schedule: 100% Onsite, Monday–Friday
Employment: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually (DOE)
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident/
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Database Development, or related disciplines.
  • Advanced SQL development, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
  • Experience with Azure SQL Database.
  • Strong ETL/ELT architecture, design, development, and implementation experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale enterprise data integration solutions.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience troubleshooting SQL Server performance using SQL Profiler or Extended Events (XEvents).
  • Understanding of REST APIs, OAuth2, JSON, and XML.
  • Expertise with data integration tools such as Jitterbit, MuleSoft, EDI translators, SSIS, DMT, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with Git and modern source control workflows.
  • Understanding of distributed data processing concepts.
  • Experience supporting production data environments and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Healthcare data integration experience, including HL7, FHIR, and EDI.
  • Experience integrating EMR/EHR systems with enterprise applications.
  • Salesforce integration experience.
  • Healthcare, logistics, or regulated industry experience.
  • Enterprise analytics and business intelligence environments.
  • Python development experience.
  • Apache Airflow experience.
