W2 - Senior Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support Cisco Meraki network environments, including:
• Meraki MX Security Appliances
• Meraki MS Switches
• Meraki MR Wireless Access Points
• Meraki SD-WAN solutions
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security across multiple locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity, routing, switching, wireless, and VPN issues.
• Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
• Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, Internet, and site-to-site connectivity.
• Participate in network assessments, documentation, and capacity planning activities.
• Provide onsite support for hardware installation, rack-and-stack, cable verification, equipment replacement, and network cutovers as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal IT teams to resolve network-related incidents.
• Maintain network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation.
• Support incident, problem, and change management processes following ITIL best practices.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance windows and critical issue escalations when required.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Cisco Meraki administration and support experience.
• Strong understanding of:
• TCP/IP
• Routing (BGP, OSPF, Static Routing)
• Switching (VLANs, STP, Trunking)
• Wireless Networking
• DNS, DHCP, NAT
• VPN Technologies (Site-to-Site, Client VPN)
• Experience with SD-WAN deployment and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform onsite network installation and troubleshooting activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience working in multi-site enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Meraki certifications (ECMS1/ECMS2).
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• Knowledge of network security concepts, firewalls, and access control policies.
• Experience supporting cloud-connected and hybrid network environments.
