Job Description

We are seeking a Data AI/ML Engineer to join our team supporting UPS in Alpharetta, GA. This role involves building scalable data platforms, developing machine learning models, and deploying AI-driven solutions to enhance logistics, routing, and supply chain operations.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, Python, and modern AI/ML technologies, along with a solid foundation in data engineering and MLOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows on Google Cloud Platform
Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for forecasting, optimization, and analytics
Implement MLOps pipelines for model lifecycle management (CI/CD, monitoring, retraining)
Work with large datasets (structured & unstructured)
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders
Develop APIs and microservices for ML model deployment
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance
Monitor and optimize model performance in production

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / ML Engineering
Strong programming in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform:
- BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub
- Cloud Storage, Dataproc
- Vertex AI
Strong SQL skills
Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch / Scikit-learn)
Experience deploying ML models in production
