You'll be responsible for supporting installs, troubleshooting and maintaining servers, while playing a vital role in keeping critical operations running smoothly and seamlessly. Data Center Technician L2:How You Will Make a Difference:
- Support installs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, and cabling
- Use command-line tools on Linux and client-specific systems for diagnostics and management
- Provide first-level triage and support debugging IT hardware issues
- Manage server repair queue, execute hardware repairs, and supervise custom builds/reworks
- Coordinate with partner teams and support vendor visits on-site
What You Will Need to Succeed:
- 2+ years of experience in Linux system and network administration
- Knowledge of PC and server hardware
- Proficient with Linux command line and common UNIX tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to switch between technical and interpersonal tasks
- Physically capable of lifting/moving 50+ pounds; self-motivated with a detail-oriented mindset
