Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Vermilion Reporting Specialist with strong expertise in implementing and configuring Vermilion Reporting Suite solutions for financial services and asset management clients. The role focuses on building reporting solutions, integrating data sources, and ensuring accurate and high quality client reporting.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Vermilion modules, strong SQL and ETL skills, and experience working with investment reporting, portfolio data, and financial instruments.

Key Responsibilities

Implement, configure, and customize Vermilion Reporting Suite to meet client reporting requirements.
Design and manage data integrations between Vermilion and external systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, Markit EDM, Aladdin, and API based data sources.
Develop and maintain automated workflows and batch processing for reporting operations.
Design and develop high quality reports and templates in formats such as PDF, MS Office, and HTML.
Perform system testing, data validation, and troubleshooting to ensure reporting accuracy and platform performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting processes.
Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of reporting solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

8–10 years of experience in enterprise software implementation within financial services or asset management.
Strong experience working with Vermilion Reporting Suite and its modules.
Experience in client reporting, performance measurement, and portfolio data management.

Technical Skills

Strong SQL skills with experience in MS SQL Server and Oracle databases.
Experience with ETL processes, data transformation, and database debugging.
Expertise in Vermilion Reporting Suite including APIs and report design.
Experience integrating data using APIs, XML, and JSON.
Knowledge of financial instruments including fixed income, equities, and derivatives.
Experience with reporting tools and data visualization such as Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with financial data platforms such as Markit EDM and Aladdin.
