Senior Manager – Oracle Fusion PPM / Cost Management (Functional Lead)
Location: Remote (Quarterly onsite meetings in Bethesda, MD)

About the Role

Client is looking for a Senior Oracle Fusion PPM Functional Lead to drive Oracle Projects Portfolio Management (PPM) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) initiatives across the organization.

This is a senior functional consulting position, not an Oracle developer role. The selected consultant will partner closely with Finance, PMO, business stakeholders, system integrators, and technical teams to deliver enterprise Oracle Fusion solutions supporting project financial management and business transformation.

Candidates with strong Oracle Financials experience combined with multiple Oracle Fusion PPM implementations are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle Fusion PPM functional design and implementation activities.
• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Oracle solutions.
• Configure and optimize Oracle Fusion Projects Portfolio Management modules.
• Support Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) initiatives.
• Design financial models, business rules, workflows, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Configure metadata, calculations, and reporting components.
• Manage enterprise data integrations using Oracle Data Management and EPM Automate.
• Coordinate data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple enterprise systems.
• Support system testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, production support, and environment management.
• Participate in solution reviews, fit-gap workshops, deployment planning, go-live activities, and post-production support.
• Produce technical and functional documentation including configuration documents, mapping documents, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, security, vendors, and cross-functional delivery teams.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years implementing and supporting Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
• 2+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Projects Portfolio Management (PPM).
• Experience delivering at least two Oracle Fusion PPM implementations.
• Strong functional consulting background supporting enterprise Oracle ERP programs.
• Experience leading workshops, solution reviews, business process discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Ability to work across integrated Oracle ERP and Oracle EPM environments.
