Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automated systems in our production processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving operational efficiency and ensuring the reliability of automation systems, particularly in the food industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation solutions for production processes.
- Program and maintain PLCs and SCADA systems ensuring optimal performance.
- Create and execute test plans to validate automation systems.
- Integrate sensors and motion control systems into existing setups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test robotic systems.
- Support continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues within automation systems.
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for automated systems.
- Commission and deploy new automation equipment in production environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in PLC programming with experience in Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
- Strong skills in Python scripting for automation tasks.
- Experience with robotics and motion control systems in an industrial setting.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and device communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, DeviceNet).
- Hands-on experience with VFDs, Servo Drives, and control systems in food manufacturing environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- Base Salary: $130,000 - $145,000 in a base salary
