Description
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer IV to provide advanced network engineering support for a variety of programs. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to design, evaluate, and enhance network components while ensuring seamless integration and implementation. This is a long-term contract position based in Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities:
Design and evaluate network components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Recommend and implement new technologies to enhance existing network capabilities.
Provide comprehensive engineering support throughout the system lifecycle, including analysis, development, integration, and testing.
Address complex network issues by analyzing data and developing innovative solutions.
Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to align network strategies with organizational goals.
Establish operational workflows and best practices to maintain network efficiency.
Supervise and guide team members on technical assignments and procedures.
Develop and update policies related to network engineering and operations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and organizational requirements.
Act independently to determine methods and approaches for new projects and network enhancements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
Proven expertise in network engineering, including planning, design, and implementation.
Strong analytical skills to address complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities to interact with senior management and guide team members.
Familiarity with industry regulations, including HIPAA, and best practices.
Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under consultative direction.
Experience with providing guidance and supervision in a technical environment.
Knowledge of advanced technologies and methods for network optimization and security.
