Summary

I'm working with a defense-focused team building secure cloud infrastructure that supports real-world cyber operations. They're looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to automate, secure, and scale private and hybrid cloud environments in high-security settings. This role is hybrid in Arlington, VA.

You'll own infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and system hardening, working closely with engineering and security teams to enforce compliance and zero trust principles from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible
Own CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls
Harden systems to STIG and similar baselines
Deploy and manage Kubernetes and containerized workloads
Implement monitoring, logging, and compliance automation

Requirements:

5+ years in DevSecOps, SRE, or infrastructure automation
Strong Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD experience
Kubernetes, Docker, and strong Linux fundamentals
Experience with STIG hardening or similar compliance standards
Scripting in Python or Go
