Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee the technological operations of our organization in New York, New York. This role requires a strategic thinker who can ensure the effective management of IT systems, align technology solutions with business goals, and maintain secure and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership in IT infrastructure management, vendor relations, and policy development while fostering collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute IT strategies that align with organizational objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
Manage the implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of centralized and distributed IT systems.
Oversee the operation and security of local and wide area networks, ensuring reliable connectivity.
Establish and enforce IT policies to protect organizational assets and maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Facilitate communication between management, staff, vendors, and external technology partners.
Supervise the acquisition of hardware and software, conducting cost-benefit analyses to optimize investments.
Implement and monitor data backup, recovery processes, and cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive information.
Provide technical training for staff, ensuring effective use of IT systems and tools.
Lead a team of IT professionals, offering guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and assess alternatives to ensure cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT management, preferably within the banking industry.
Proficiency in managing network infrastructure, including local and wide area networks.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessment tools, and best practices.
Hands-on experience with enterprise software systems such as CIF2020 Banking software and Banno.
Expertise in computer hardware, configuration management, and backup technologies.
Familiarity with Cisco technologies and Active Directory.
Ability to develop and enforce IT policies that ensure operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
Proven leadership skills in managing teams and encouraging attention to detail in development.
