Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced *Epic HB/PB Analyst* to support the implementation, optimization, enhancement, and maintenance of Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clinical, operational, and revenue cycle stakeholders to analyze business requirements, configure Epic applications, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing production support to improve revenue cycle performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Configure, build, test, implement, and maintain Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB) applications.
* Gather and analyze business and operational requirements from revenue cycle stakeholders.
* Translate business needs into functional system configurations and workflows.
* Support application upgrades, optimizations, and enhancement requests.
* Perform system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Revenue Cycle, HIM, Clinical Operations, IT, and third-party vendors.
* Monitor system performance and recommend process improvements.
* Develop and maintain system documentation, workflows, and training materials.
* Provide production support, incident management, and on-call support as required.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, organizational policies, and Epic best practices.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
* Current Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and/or Professional Billing (PB) Certification(s).
* 5+ years of experience supporting Epic HB/PB applications.
* Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle processes.
* Experience with Epic build, configuration, testing, implementation, and production support.
* Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Epic Resolute Billing modules.
* Knowledge of Claims, Charge Capture, Payment Posting, Remittance, Denials, and Revenue Cycle workflows.
* Experience with Epic upgrades, optimizations, and integrated applications.
* Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis.
* Experience working in Agile or Waterfall project environments.
